To all who would be interested next Monday night, May 4th at 7:00 pm I am going to be getting together with all of the contributors/readers of both Evangelical Village and SBC Voices. This is for a couple of reasons.
1) I have met very few of you outside of the virtual world and I would love the chance to get to know some of you and for some of you all to better know each other. A lot of the night we will just be relaxing and hanging out.
2) Talk Vision. As most of you know I am the new Editor here at SBC Voices and I would love to get to chat with some of our readers and writers about the future of SBC Voices. Hopefully, we will get to nail down some future Blog series. Also, I want it to be an opportunity for us to openly discuss some ideas that would improve the site, its purpose, and its future.
Who: ALL SBC Voices contributors, commenters, and readers are invited.
When: Next Monday night May 4th at 7:00 pm.
Where: Starbucks on Shelbyville rd. in Louisville, Ky.

Love too, but its a bit of a drive. How about getting together at Convention time?
Sure, Matt. I’ll stop by on the way home. Atlanta is not that far.
Seriously, I would love to, but it won’t work this time.
I am going to the Advance09 in June though.

Gee Matt, I love to join you, but I’m cooking dinner for my husband in Oklahoma that night. Don’t think I could even put a roast in the crockpot and make it for coffee in Louisville by 7. But I’ll be there with you in spirit. Send me the minutes of the meeting.

I’d love to, but I live in NC. I do use your webpage regularly as a place to get all the news related to the SBC. What makes your site so good is not only that you compile all the SBC sites, but you give a title along with blog name so we can quickly tell what it is about. If you are accepting suggestions, I’d like to be able to see even more sites from the start page. Thanks for your help.

Bill,
We are always taking suggestions. I think this is the best aggregator we can get though.
That just means you will have to check back multiple times a day to make sure you don’t miss any..
It’s not the 3 hour drive keeping me away, it’s the getting up and going to work on Tuesday morning. Yikes. It’s a great idea though; maybe a Friday or Saturday night would have been better. How ’bout Lexington next time?

Sounds like a great idea, Matt. I’ll be at my son’s band banquet in Missouri, but I look forward to hearing how it goes.

I was just thinking, is there anyway to perhaps have a section of the most read posts? I was thinking it could be in a box like the “latest from the most influential SBC blogs,” etc.
Is this possible or too much work?
