I am running so far behind in getting ready and leaving for the convention – a recent Africa trip has had that effect.
However, it seems that our group has decided that our best bet for a gathering is to meet at the supper hour at the “Old Spaghetti Factory” at 727 N 1st Street, within walking distance of the Convention Center, at the supper hour on Monday night. It’s usually pretty early, but come on down. I have made a very generous offer. If the Pastor’s Conference election goes well (defined as winning with at least a 95% majority) – then I am picking up the tab.
Seriously, we always have a good time. This is all the invitation you need, but it might help if you let me know if you are coming. I need to know how big a section to reserve. The prices here seem pretty reasonable. I usually leave during the last message of the afternoon to get a jump on things and try to reserve some seats.
Let me know here if you are planning to come. Or, just show up and we’ll try to wedge you in.
Alas, I’ll keep my unbroken record of failures to attend. I’ll be out of town for a funeral.
My wife Ashley and I will be there.
Wish I could finally meet everyone but I won’t be in St. Louis. I wish you well.
I’m hoping to eat with yall, especially with Dave buying. I’ll be extra hungry by the time I get there. If I do come, it’ll just be me, because my daughter and granddaughters are coming with us, and they’ll be eating with my wife, somewhere else. So, I’ll try my best to get there.
David
I will be there, God willing.
I was really hoping to finally meet some of y’all in my backyard. But flying back into town that evening. Bummer for me. But I’ll be around the convention center Tuesday and attending the Commect 3:16 dinner. Maybe some of you will be lurking around that event and we could meet. Hope so.
My wife and I plan on being there. Looking forward to it.
I will be there, Deo volente.
My wife and I are in!!!! Ready for some good spaghtetti…oh, and to meet many of you guys face-to-face for the first time!!!
