My first book, Torn to Heal, is releasing on May 1st. We need your help designing the cover. Our design team has narrowed their options down to these 11:
Which do you like the best?
You can read a sample chapter here: Torn to Heal Chapter One. After reading that chapter which cover do you feel best captures the books intention?

I like option B. (I really do not like C, E, or K.)
I don’t like any of the covers.
I think the cover ought to be you sitting in a jeep speeding away from a fantastic explosion in the background all while your grinning with a Bill Clinton-esque thumbs up.
Otherwise, I really like G. Lots of symbolism in it.
I agree with William. I really like the topic though, and I love Cruciform Press’ publishing model. Will be looking forward to the release in May!
Ewww. Bandaids. Yuck!
I like the thorns in B and D, with B being the preferred. I would not go with the ones that use Bandaids (TM). The “thumbs up” ones don’t do much for me, either. A and J are the most aesthetically pleasing, but I don’t think they carry the theme as well.
I guess I’m with the crowd. Don’t really like the bandaid ones. My favorites are probably b and d.
If I could vote, I would choose ‘B’ for its symbolism:
“O weary Head! we see Thee drooping now
Beneath that diadem of mortal pain:
We see Thee sprinkled with the scarlet stain;—
Drop down the chrism on our polluted brow!
O sacred Head!—pale, beautiful, benign—
On our heads be Thy precious blood, we cry!
Lo, the destroying angel, passing by,
Shall spare to smite us—reverencing the sign.”
(from a poem by Ada Cambridge,
whose married name was Ada Cross)
(Hosea 6:1-3)
“Come, let us return to the Lord.
He has torn us to pieces
but He will heal us;
He has injured us
but He will bind up our wounds.
2 After two days He will revive us;
on the third day He will restore us,
that we may live in His Presence.
3 Let us acknowledge the Lord;
let us press on to acknowledge Him.
As surely as the sun rises,
He will appear;
He will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.”

🙂 I will!

PS I didn’t design any of these. So I have my own favorites and not so favorites.
F. It shows a cure that, according to reason, could never heal the rift.
D
B! By leagues.
I voted on Facebook, but thought I would comment here as well. I like “D” the best. It looks like a real place where I have been physically torn before.
To me, the pictures with cracks suggest the words broken or cracked rather than torn.
They have narrowed down the cover to the Top 5
