Paul utterly rejected confidence in the flesh (Phil 3) but often we focus on repression of behaviors and other fleshly control. It is as we delight in Jesus that we find freedom from sin, victory and power.
(Note-It is amazing to me that some would discount this man’s powerful preaching because of certain theological positions he holds. Brilliantexposition. If you reject him, you have the problem, not him. I cannot imagine anyone being bothered by the fact he is advising on the gospel project.)
