I just got a copy of the first sermon preached by the former editor of SBC Voices, Matt Svoboda. It was a blessing to me, I’m sure it will be to you as well. He has really developed into a FINE preacher! You can almost feel the anointing.
Dave Miller is the senior pastor of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Sioux City, Iowa, and editor of SBC Voices. He served as President of the 2017 SBC Pastors’ Conference. He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic and SWBTS. He has pastored churches in Florida, Virginia, and Iowa. Twitter
Well, in that case, let me just say this. Matt, if you ever need a replacement backup organ, I know a couple of folks who are trying to give theirs away.
I’m just shocked at how good a preacher Matt is!
I just love the way he works the stage.
Have you heard? They’ve turned The Shack into a movie.
I hear Don Quixote is getting a cameo in it too.
Haa
And they already turned it into an electronics store!!!
Since no one else did it, I will. Buh dum dum! (Rim shot)
I’m guessing he goes to one of those independent fundy “Little Golden Book-only” churches.
there…now that is a sermon we can wrap our blankets around. unh hunh! selahV
I am sure I heard this young man at an Evangelism Conference a few years back… I just did not know it was Matt… 🙂
Sorry guys. Fun is fun. But this really puts off creepy vibes.
With that, I am…
Peter
Don’t make fun of Matt. He’s just learning
So did they have someone there to interpret?
🙂
I’ve always thought some preachers act like toddlers, especially when they have as little substance as a toddler.
Matt, on the other hand…
Matt does not ACT like a toddler. He IS a toddler.
What religion is THIS?????
We might hazard a guess or two, but we’d likely offend the folks who are what we guess.
It’s really not Matt Svoboda. It’s Joel Osteen before he went to seminary.
How dare you say that is Joel Osteen!
One thing I’m pretty sure of – Joel Osteen never went to seminary. At least I hope not.
You’re right there!
I just gotta know, does Matt still preach with an organ backing him up or did he grow out of that phase?
You don’t understand – this was just last Sunday!
Well, in that case, let me just say this. Matt, if you ever need a replacement backup organ, I know a couple of folks who are trying to give theirs away.
