First thing in the morning, I’m headed to Omaha, to fly to Minneapolis, to fly to JFK to fly El Al airlines to Tel Aviv, Israel. I will be returning on October 11. I have been excited beyond words about this trip. About thirty pastors are joining Frank Page, Fred Luter and a few others to tour the Holy Land.*
I have no idea how much internet access I will have, or how much time I will have to write posts. I plan to post as much as I can at my Facebook site to keep friends and family apprised about our travels. But I’m not sure if I will have time or interest in writing posts for Voices.
Jeff Musgrave, one of our (recently inactive) contributors, will also be going. He usually manages the site when I am gone. I’m trying to arrange an SBC Voices babysitter for the next week.
In the meantime, contributors, there is not a lot in the hopper right now. Write, write, write!
Shalom, dudes.
*For the record, this trip is NOT funded by the SBC Cooperative Program. Just needed to make that clear before someone asked.
One day, when I’m not doing missions, this is the one place I want to go. I will look for your updates and go vicariously.
Just to make something clear:
With Dave gone, if you are a first-time commenter or your comments have, for whatever reason, been put on the permanent go-to-moderation list, or you have multiple links in your comment triggering it to moderation, it will take some time before they get released into the wild. We’re ad hoc approving comments, and it’s just not the first thing on the to-do list.
Our little band of Baptists is in Jerusalem, settling down for the night and getting ready to start our travels tomorrow. Should be fun!
