Brazil: Pastors in Assu, Brazil, have the opportunity to attend seminary classes in their interior city. Please pray for a US volunteer who will be teaching theology of missions to these pastors February 7 and 8. Please pray for his safety and clarity of speech. Also pray for the pastors to be able to take what they learn and apply it to their ministries. Pray for more pastors to take advantage of this opportunity to get seminary training without having to move to a larger city.
Amazon: Many years ago, *Steve traveled from his village, in search of other members of his tribe that lived across the border. While away from his home village, he had an opportunity to hear the Gospel and he became a believer. After he returned back to his home village, Shalom, he has been the only believer living there. He has struggled to share the Gospel and to make an influence in his community. One of our national partners, *Eugene will be making monthly trips to Shalom to work with Steve. Pray that his trips will be an encouragement, and that together they will better be able to share the gospel with the village of Shalom. (*names changed)
Mexico: Please pray for two vision trips scheduled for this month. Pray that these two churches will want to partner with us in reaching the cities of Leon and Guanajuato.
Manaus: Three people have recently shown interest in becoming members of the community church and two desire to be baptized. Please pray these individuals would be discipled by loving followers of Jesus and follow through on their commitments to the church family.
