I have a couple of lists of requests today. The post is a little longer than usual, but our missionaries always need our prayers, and I don’t like to leave out any requests. I have eve more over listed over at Prayers for IMB so click over there and take some spend some extra time this Labor Day praying for those who Labor in difficult harvest fields.
Here are a couple of requests from our team in Niamey City, Niger
I am sure many of you have been watching the development of Hurricane Dorian. It is set to hit some part of the United States east coast late Monday or early Tuesday morning. As of Sunday, it was a category 4 hurricane. Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida where Christin attends evacuated campus Friday morning. Students will not return to campus until sometime after Tuesday. Please pray this storm does not do extensive damage and that no lives will be lost.
Last week, we asked you to pray for our Niamey City Team as we put details of action plans together that help us accomplish goals in 4 focus areas of seeing Niamey reached with the Gospel. These were completed and submitted. Please continue to pray for us as we seek to join God where He is working.
The main university in Niamey is set to begin classes next Monday. Pray that this semester will go smoothly, with no strikes or delays to the class schedules. Pray for a deepening of relationships we have with university students that would bring about a newly planted church among them that multiplies.

Pray for the new believers in a capital city of a Balkans’ country who will be baptized today, September 1 and for those that will be baptized on September 21.
Please be in prayer for the 15 church leaders who will study at the Bible Institute in a city in a former Soviet Union country for two weeks. They are pastoral program students who are serving the Lord as local ministers in religiously hostile environments. Please join us in praying for their safe travel and for their intensive time of study!
This week is a busy week on university campuses in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). Please pray on Sept 2nd for the university student Bible discussion group which starts back up for the semester. They will be discussing the book of John and the theme is titled: “John the Witness”. Pray for seekers and the two Dutch national students, Armando and Jonne, who are leading this group. On Sept 2-4th, pray for these 3 evangelism days where spiritual surveys will be done on the university campus. Pray that God will lead workers to open and seeking students and that they can train the national believing students. Pray on Sept 5th for the “Welcome Back” night at a cafe for the university students.
