So, what exactly Is a “declarative showing?”
Its a strong vote picking him as EC president… What were you thinking?
Anything he wants it to be, but I imagine 51 percent would be toward the “non-declarative” side of the continuum.
Can anyone make sense of the now public accusations made against the Search Committee chairman Steve Swofford. Is the SBC this inept to keep picking these types of people to hold leadership positions. I know the accusations are all alleged, but seriously? How bad do we look to outsiders?

Mike, It would be helpful if you clarified the accusations when making a comment like this. Without clarification, one could think Swofford guilty of anything. I read about him in the Houston Chronicle. It seems he is minimizing the church’s guilt from not doing more to protect children from sexual abuse that happened around the late 80s to early 90s by a youth pastor and his sidekick. He didnt do a background check on the sidekick that would have revealed a sexual abuse conviction.
