It is with a mixture of joy and sadness that I make this announcement. The contributors at sbcIMPACT have decided to deactivate regular posting on that site – one of the SBC’s best blogs in the four years it has been in operation. Their name was also a description – those writers made an impact on the life of the SBC.
That’s the sad part. Now the happy time! The writers from sbcIMPACT are going to join forces with SBC Voices and become part of our writing team. While they may not have the time to maintain the regular posting schedule at IMPACT, they still have lots to say. So, we will be blessed to have their regular contributions here at this site.
David Rogers has been one of my favorite bloggers for a long time. Two men, Rastis and Strider, serve in places where security demands they keep their real names private. Chris Johnson, Andrew Wencl, Josh Ellis, and Rob Ayers will also be contributing to our site as they are able.
These men are my friends. I was a part of the sbcIMPACT team for three years and I am glad that we have this opportunity to combine the sites and keep them involved in Baptist blogging. You will benefit from reading what they write.
Welcome aboard, gentlemen.
Are all the new Contributors Calvinists ? I’m curious if that might be a requirement to Post.
I post and I’m not a Calvinist.
I’m an Alvinist. My brethren Simon and Theodore run their own blog.
wait a minute, wait a minute !!!
you’re an ‘Alvinist’? You’ve joined an order of chip monks?
when did you convert?
This is news.
That is really ridiculous, Jack. We are about half Calvinist and half not.
Not if you know the writers for SBCImpact or, at least, the ones I have read do not seem to be inclined that way…but then they must speak for themselves.
