Alan Cross was an SBC pastor in Montgomery, AL for 16 years who now serves as a Missional Strategist for the Montgomery Baptist Association. William Dwight McKissic, Sr. is founder and senior pastor of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, TX. Born in Pine Bluff, AR, he graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and SWBTS and was awarded an honorary Doctorate from Arkansas Baptist College. He’s the author of three books: Beyond Roots: In Search of Blacks in the Bible, Beyond Roots II: If Anybody Asks You Who I Am, and Moving from Fear to Faith. John Mark Terry is Professor of Missions at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Cordova, Tennessee. He earned a Ph.D. at SWBTS, served with the IMB in Southeast Asia for 24 years and later as Professor of Missions at SBTS. He is the author of eight books, many journal articles and curriculum materials for LifeWay. He is married, and he and his wife, Barbara, have two children and four granddaughters. For fun he reads murder mysteries and cheers for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. He does not watch Kentucky football because he is not a masochist.
