The conference, last I checked, has registered about double the number who attended the SBC annual meeting last month.
I’m planning to be there and would love to meet and visit with any SBCV contributors, commenters, or others.
SendNA is the biggest thing going in SBC life these days. One notes that one of the few areas where our statistics showed an increase was in numbers of churches. That was for last year. I suspect that the renewed emphasis on church planting by NAMB is a major contributor to the increase.
Either leave a comment or email me and I’ll give you my phone number. I don’t know where or when the best time for casual meetings would be.
Praise God that there are many numbers at the conference!
That’s truly exciting. And without being dismissive of the importance of the Annual Meeting, leading people to “do business with God” is the kind of business meeting we all ought to support…
My wife and I are going, but will be pretty busy as I’m taking it as a conference class through SEBTS, so we have extra sessions before and after. Still, if we could catch up and say hi that would be great.

I will be there live-blogging the event (sort of a tradition now). Just registered to stay for the ERLC event as well on the 5th.
I love to meet and hang out with the bloggers at these things. I usually tweet my location (@davemiller7) and if anyone wants to come and hang out, you are free to. Come and introduce yourself, at least. Since my wife won’t be there, perhaps the lime green suit can even make an appearance (she somehow thinks “it’s not classy” – what does she know?).
Anyway, I look forward to these things to put faces to names and to get to know people IRL (see how hip and cool I am using that jargon and all, maybe I’ll start with the emoticons and all).
If you are there by yourself, or just a couple of people, come hang out with whoever is hanging out with us! I like to call it the “cool kids.” Of course, we tend to be overweight and old, but whatever.
I proudly and deliberately carry a dumb phone, tweet/schmeet. Means nothing to me. I was going to get Lindsay Graham’s old phone but he destroyed it.
I figure I can find Miller if I look for a big mob trying to get a photo with him. Rock star.
Hey, that Lindsey Graham video was pretty funny.
I will be there for SEND and the ERLC event. Would love to meet you William.
Dave, this will be a huge event. You’ll need to wear the lime green suit. We’ll never find you otherwise.
Since my wife is not going, I may get to bring the suit. She’s pretty adamant that the suit is not “classy” and won’t be seen in public with me when I wear it.
No accounting for tastes.
Yeah, Dave, listen to your wife. I probably don’t have your best interests at heart here. God put you two together for your own good, so you should definitely listen to her over me.
