As soon as Steve Gaines is done preaching, we will meet across the street for a “Bluster of Bloggers” at Barley’s Restaurant. (We will ignore the fact that it is a brewery, too!)
I’m headed over there about the time the Bellevue Pastor gets started to try to reserve a table – they don’t take reservations in advance. I’ll get an iced tea and wait for you guys. It looks like things will wrap up here before 4:30, so it’s gonna be an early supper.
We will stay till we are done.
Again, Barley’s is directly across the street from the main entrance of the conference center. Head out from the podium, go across the hallway and out the doors. walk across th street and you should see Barley’s on the left.
YOU are invited!
(Our standards are low)
Its 3:30 and Gaines is coming up. So it might be 4:15 or so!
How interesting to find
SBC bloggers
meeting in a
brewery.
David R. Brumbelow
No alcohol was consumed, Dr. Brumbelow!
The whole place was filled with Baptists. I rebuked several for being in a brewery. Many of them seemed to feel that my presence there made my rebuke carry less weight.
I hope that’s a sarcastic comment. The food and service were great.
Yes it was Brent – no one had alcohol or even “fruit of the vine” to my knowledge, that is.
Wait – I think some had lemon in tea – and Dean had some lemon cake with raspberry drizzle or something like that! Lol.
Great time was had. I know I personally once again gained some needed perspective and understanding of fellow commenters and article writers.
I suppose the name of the restaurant *had* begin with a B, to keep up the alliteration?
The food was excellent. Great Reuben.
Bloggers, don’t tarry too long at the brewery. According to the SBC2015 homepage, the Great Awakening starts in 13 hours, 26 minutes and counting!
