So the credit card fees come off the top if someone gives 100.00 then the church would receive the full amount or a portion based on the fees? Just want to understand the process before committing.
My church doesn’t use this service, but I know how ours works: if you go in and tell it you want to give $100, our system offers to raise your gift to $102.47 (or whatever it is exactly) so that the church gets the $100. You actually get the IRS credit for the $102.47, the church gets the $100. If you just give $100 straight up, then the transaction fees will be deducted and the church gets $97.53.
