Doug did a great job filling you on on the goings-on around here. There were just a few more things I thought you might be interested to know. -AR
Little Known Fact #8 – SBCVoices has millions of barrels of petroleum reserves in storage that Dave can release whenever he chooses to ease the prices at the pumps. (You might want start being a little nicer to him as you sure-up your summer driving plans.)
Little Known Fact #9 – We know what’s at Area 51. We know there are buildings, fences, cameras and motion sensors…lots of ‘em. Beyond that is anyone’s guess.
Little Known Fact #10 – Until this moment, in this sentence, if you had searched the SBCVoices site for the word “Kabuki” you would not have found it anywhere. Kabuki. There…now you’d find it twice.
Little Known Fact #11 – Jared had a draft post that he was working on that solved all the world’s problems, but it accidentally got deleted. Sorry. I think “chocolate” was in there somewhere though, if that helps.
To be serious for a moment, we also have some great ideas for the upcoming Passion Week that we’re all working on for you, so you’ll want to stay tuned for those. Afterall, our goal is, of course, not to make ourselves known, but to make HIM known. Whatever Voices we have we only want to join them in chorus with you to praise our Lord Jesus Christ.
Oh, and I almost forgot another important thing: Little Known Fact #12 – Thank YOU for your readership! Thanks to YOU this site has gotten some pretty neat stats lately. It’s been getting a lot of traffic and gets a lot of Facebook “Likes”, so thank you very much.
So now you have as much scoop as any of us. Oh, wait…Doug has the secret formula for Coca-Cola, and Jeff Musgrave and Dan Barnes are the guys responsible for crop circles.
OK, now you know everything we know.
The amazing coincidence here is that I just used the word “Kabuki” at my own blog today for the first time as well. And I would like to know who leaked the video of the crop circle thing. My sister did a project in HS on how to make those; I can’t imagine why else you would suspect me. 🙂
In all seriousness, thanks to all those who read as well as those who contribute. SBC Voices is what it is because of you.
SHHHH!
What?!! My sweet hubby (Doug) has been holding out on me. So, why do I keep buying Coke at Wal-Mart?
Oops – just realized I posted that previous comment signed in as Doug. Momentary identity crisis.
I didn’t want to say anything, but I was thinking to myself, “Man, that Doug guy sure is sweet on himself.” Mystery solved. 🙂
What do you think I really spend my time doing when you think I’m at church?
I’m mixing up batches of syrup!
This is one reason why my wife and I use different computers. It keeps us from mistaken identity issues. 🙂
It happened because I (Doug) had used her computer and browser. I’m supposed to use Chrome on the home computer so that Firefox stays personalized with her stuff and I missed it one time.
🙁
For the record, my 6 inside scoop statements are actually true.
8)
I think 9 and 10 above are accurate as well. I didn’t have a chance to check the Kabuki thing though and because of the crop circle comment I am keeping talk about number 9 to a minimum. Plausible deniability.
We’re Baptists. We don’t Kabuki because there’s too much dancing involved.
I can’t leave you guys alone for a minute!
🙂
Are you saying it might be a while before I get to mind the store again. 🙂
You left for 2 days.
Big difference.
