SBC friends, here are some recs for eating near(ish) the convention center next week (from a born-and-bred Dallas boy):
Coffee — Ascension; Crooked Tree; Houndstooth
Breakfast — Cafe Brazil (or here); Bread Winners
Lunch/Dinner — Taco Joint (preferably on Peak St.); Pecan Lodge BBQ; Brick & Bones; Twisted Root Burger; Cane Rosso Pizza; Uncle Uber’s Sammiches; Pappadeaux Seafood; Pappasito’s Mexican; Hopdoddy Burgers
Hit up Joe T. Garcia’s Mexican in Fort Worth (reportedly cash-only) if you’re out that way. Get snacks and whatever your heart desires at Buc-ee’s.
Apart from Brandon’s recommendations, I had someone send these recommended options if you want a really good steak: Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Nick & Sam’s, Perry’s Steakhouse, Morton’s The Steakhouse. Here’s a map with some of the closer options from this list. The convention center is the red pin.
