Been a little busy the last couple of days, so I missed Monday, but here are some prayer requests from our awesome IMB missionaries, and more of them over at Prayers for IMB
Last Frontier–Please lift up two individuals who recently heard the gospel. God’s powerful truth was shared with them, but they didn’t make a decision at the time. Pray that God’s life-changing Word will be like a seed, as taught in the Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:11, 15). Ask that it will take root in good soil and bring forth the fruit of salvation and more. Pray that God will work his good purposes in both of their lives.
Denmark– On June 1, a new believer in Copenhagen, Denmark, was baptized. Please pray for Adam* as he begins his new life in Christ. Ask that he will be passionate in his study of God’s Word and receptive of discipleship from his believing friends and his local church.
Saudi Arabia–Post-Ramadan holiday celebrations are over, and Saudi Arabs are now facing a long, hot summer. School is out, but youth activities and entertainment options are limited. Saudi Arabs who can afford international travel may head to cooler places such as Europe to escape the heat. Those who don’t travel may head to air-conditioned malls or turn to the internet and television for entertainment. Please pray that summer boredom will cause many Saudi Arabs to recognize the spiritual void within them. Ask that their summer plans will put them into contact with Jesus followers. And pray that searches for entertainment will lead Saudis to media that points the way to life in Jesus.
Thanks for praying today, and may God bless you all real good.
