About Alan Cross

Alan Cross has pastored SBC churches in Alabama and California over the past two decades. He is the author of When Heaven and Earth Collide: Racism, Southern Evangelicals, and the Better Way of Jesus (NewSouth Books, 2014) and Joy Persevering: The Ray and Ruth Bozeman Story of Living in the Better Way of Jesus. He is a graduate of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (now Gateway) with an M.Div. with an emphasis on Intercultural Studies, and Mississippi State University. Alan and his wife have 4 children.
