On Saturday afternoon I sent all of the @SBCExecComm trustees (plus @ronniefloyd as an ex oficio member) an email with information I knew had not been disclosed to them—including black and white, documented facts that two EC CEOs fabricated/protected lies contrary to the findings of both SBC entities who actually had authority over the matter (and spoke to the parties) as well as the local church.
I also explained how destructive this was to me, how much I worked to avoid conflict & just wanted the truth. I also noted the legal action I took and the response of the EC’s insurance company vs EC/RF posture. I cannot possibly explain how much I HATE being trapped with the choices of: a) Pretend like I don’t know of the sin/it doesn’t matter, or b) Rehash/synthesize things that should never have been.
The messengers were clear and I knew the trustees couldn’t be expected to faithfully apply that which had been hidden from them. So I sent [the email]. I received about a dozen replies, all thanking me for helping since they were totally unaware. I confirmed (again) my accuracy to the portions addressed for which I wasn’t present by checking it w/ @albertmohler and he also confirmed what I sent the trustees was accurate in every aspect of which he was involved/aware, etc.
Yesterday, I was in the room with them. 4-5 spoke to me & were kind. But (in large, everyone looked straight through me as though I wasn’t there. And then had detached discussions about hypothetical scenarios that aren’t hypothetical and are actually in the past.
So, I am just passing the information on to the public where the messengers can find it and educate themselves if they so choose. Screenshots of the letter below.
