Good morning. I hope everyone had a wonderful day of worship with their church family yesterday. Here are the prayer requests for this week from our IMB team in Europe. For the rest of the list, please click on Prayers for IMB
Wales–A family in Cardiff, Wales asks for prayers for the Lord to open the doors to more fruitful relationships with their unsaved neighbors. They had a coffee event for Thanksgiving and delivered Christmas cards and treats this past month—they are seeking the Lord for how to creatively open their lives & home for the new year so that more may know Him.
Belgium–Pray for a movie night outreach with colleagues’ English club this today in Namur, Belgium. As they meet in the home of our colleagues, pray that this deepens relationships and opens doors for gospel conversations.
Ukraine–Intercede for IMB representatives in L’viv, Ukraine as they take the final steps to launch the new Master’s program in Church Growth and Evangelism at UBTS. In addition, pray for our colleague as he teaches this month (January 20-24) on the doctrine of salvation, and January 27-31 evangelism and church planting.
Black Sea–A worker in one of the countries of the Black Sea Orthodox sub-cluster wrote a request for this week for her daughter’s teacher who was very ill and not expected to live. Before this prayer bulletin was distributed, the teacher passed away. She writes, “It was a very sad time. God has answered our prayer to give opportunity to share the good news with others though, and I am very grateful. We are praying that we will continue to have these opportunities to speak of our hope in Christ to the teachers, parents and students at our daughters’ school.”
