There is nothing else to do right now but read blogs. Everyone slept in and there are 5 people in line for the shower! Luckily, Tim Challies is Canadian and is willing to blog today. How else would I know about the Christian albums on sale at Amazon? 🙂
It’s just a Thursday down here. Taking a break from work before heading out again.

Hey Sports Fans!
The SWAMP LIZARD NATION slithered by the HOG NATION today. Lucky Lizards is all I can say.
Tomorrow the SABANATION meets the AUBURN NATION. That should be an easy win for the CRIMSON TIDE, but it is AUBURN. And the AUBURN-BAMA game is the number one rivalry in the entire FOOTBALL UNIVERSE.
If AUBURN does somehow prove to be a spoiler, the road to the National Championship will take a sharp curve.
However, and be assured, the National Champion will be an SEC NATION.
No Monk School PeeWee FOOTBALL NATION will be National Champions. You can take that to the bank.

I held out hope for LSU and ‘Bama losses so my Ags could play Georgia in Atlanta. But a win over Mizzou still gives us our first 10 win season since 1998 iirc. Pretty good for our transition year to the SEC!

Greg Harvey,
Now that the AGGIE NATION is in the SEC, it is only right for you to have grand dreams for your FOOTBALL NATION. Such dream ability comes with an entry to the highest and most noble of all FOOTBALL Conferences in the FOOTBALL UNIVERSE. Therefore, never limit your dreams as was once necessary when the you cheered for a Lesser NATION from a Lesser Conference.
The AGGIES have done exceptional well this year and they did take down the Flagship of the SEC in top drawer fashion. I admit they soundly beat the SABANATION.
However, the creams has, once again, risen to the top and the TIDE is on track to a 15th National Championship.

Hey Sports Fans!
The BULLDOG NATION is doing what was expected with GEORGIA TECH. The boys from Tech are just not able to engineer a lever strong enough to extract themselves for the power of BULLDOG jaws.
Later today, as we party here in Scottville, the CRIMSON ELEPHANT will stomp on the ORANGE &BLUE TIGER for the 42ed time in the rivalry history.
I know all of you true Sports Fans out there will be cheering the West Coast Infidels of Southern California on as they meet the Monk School Irish Mercenaries from South Bend.
Party on Sports Fans….and don’t forget:
The SEC FOREVER and ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Go Texans! Number One!
Thank you Lord, for all we are given of your hand. All is yours for our enjoyment. May we tithe to honor all that is Yours since all we possess is Yours. May we, Your servants, be just that, Your servants. All we have is Yours and we live in contentment because You are Lord of Lords and King of Kings. We have nothing to fear because of You. To God be the Glory. Again, come Lord Jesus.

The best thing Lane Kiffin ever did for the SEC was to leave.
The second best thing he can ever do for the SEC is to beat the Irish tonight.

Maybe Lane Kiffin should take up coaching Water Polo.
CB will not fail to note that the SEC will likely end up with six teams in the Top Ten. The universe is indeed in order.

William Thorton,
You are right. We will dominate. It is what it is. And what is it? It is that the SEC is NCAA FOOTBALL and everything else is,…… well, just window dressing.
As I watched the Irish play USC last evening, one thing continued to become self evident.
Neither USC nor the Monk School of South Bend could defeat the SABANATION, the BULLDOG NATION, the GATOR NATION, the AGGIE NATION, the FIGHTIN’ ROOSTER NATION, or even the SWAMP LIZARD NATION.
An SEC NATION will again be National Champion in the FOOTBALL UNIVERSE.
YOu have spoken truth on this fine day. And, the Vols ended the year with a win. At least we didn’t let Kentucky beat us. This year, us, Vol fans, have to take what we can get. The win felt good.
Now, who will be our next coach is the big question?
I really think Dooley could have turned it around. Nonetheless, the blood of the SEC runs true and and the folks of Tennessee will again see a return to the greatness of their SEC birthright.
I predict that within five years Tennessee and Arkansas will enjoy national dominance. I think that one of the next three years will see South Carolina take home the National Championship Trophy.
I really think had not Arkansas’s former coach lost his mind, this would have been the year of the HOG NATION.
We all may be cheering the AGGIE NATION on next year. It will be hard to stop Johnny FOOTBALL next year if he stays healthy and does not lose his head.

Jimbo Fisher will go as Head Coach to one of the following SEC NATIONS:
Maybe Mark Stoops (FSU DC), but Fisher would be a fool to leave a school he is getting paid $3M to coach at and be #1 or 2 in his conference, to go to a school that will be consistently at best 3rd or 4th in their division.
Unless they’re willing to pay him $5-6M of course. Then he should take the money and put the extra into his son’s charity (rare disease).
Gotta go to work, first.
Don’t ever work in retail.
A joyful Thanksgiving to all on this site!

Some of us are better at multi-tasking than others, apparently.

Vol,
My SEC brother, the VOLUNTEER NATION will return.

Stephen,
Arkansas, TN, and Auburn can be….and have been in the past….better than 3d or 4th in thier division.
If TN can get the right coach….watch out.
It wasnt that many years ago that Auburn won it all.
If the Hogs get the right coach….watch out.
